Canoe Trips & Fishing

The South Fork and North Fork of the Flambeau River have long been noted as outstanding whitewater canoe rivers. They also provide excellent musky, walleye and smallmouth bass fishing. (Although we haven't made catch and release compulsory, we encourage this practice. "LET'EM GO - LET'EM GROW". It will ensure the same quality of fishing for our grandchildren.) The scenery along these rivers is superb at any time of year.

Canoe rental is on a daily basis, guided or unguided. Flambeau Sports provides canoe, paddles, cushions and life preservers. Transportation is available to starting points on the South Fork or North Fork of the Flambeau River and other rivers and lakes on a per mile basis. A map is provided for each section of the river you wish to canoe.

Hunting

The Flambeau River area is well known for its excellent deer, bear and small game hunting. Many trophy bucks and bears have been bagged in this secluded area. There is a great deal of publicly owned land open to hunters. We provide guided gun and bow hunts for deer and grouse.

Our guides are experienced and proficient. A display of deer heads and racks taken in this area is on display in our shop. This Trophy Deer Country. We provide parking for camper trailers and motor homes.

General Store & Supplies

The Flambeau Sports General Store has groceries, ice, beer, hunting equipment, guns and ammo. Licenses are also available for residents and non-resident.
